Designed with the availability of a poly top, wood tower, and a poly base. 

Hybrid Lighthouses have a poly top, a wood tower, and are available with a poly base. This allows for designs that are not available in all poly, while having a longer life span than an all wooden lighthouse. The top and the bottom are the 2 sections that deteriorate first on a wood lighthouse using a poly top and base adds several years to the life expectancy of a wood lighthouse. We HIGHLY recommend buying the optional base when purchasing a hybrid, otherwise you are only getting half the benefit a hybrid was designed to deliver.
